About Nepalgunj Medical College Nepal

Nepalgunj Medical College is a private college that was established in 1996 when a group of renowned businessmen, medical professionals, educators and socialites joined hands to fulfill a social duty. They started their first batch of MBBS course a year after the establishment of the college, in 1997 and the students graduated in 2002.

 The institute is included in the "World Directory of Medical Schools" of the WHO. It follows the syllabus prescribed by Kathmandu University. The colleges have their own two well-equipped teaching hospitals in the two main towns of Banke district, a 750-bed teaching hospital in Kohalpur and a 250-bed teaching hospital in Nepalgunj.

The campus is located in a quiet area of ​​East Chisapani, Banke. The greenery throughout the year makes the location unique, one of a kind, quiet and peaceful, pollution free and simply an ideal place for good learning and teaching. The school campus is fully residential for faculty and non-teaching staff. Boys and girls have separate hostels and canteens. Security men, most of them ex-soldiers, ensure round-the-clock security of the premises.

In addition, we have a lot of medical teaching equipment, CDs/DVDs which are used exclusively for teaching and learning purposes. Medical informatics courses are conducted for students.
