Omsk State Medical University is a medical school located in Omsk, Russia. It was founded as a medical faculty in 1920 as the Siberian Institute of Veterinary Medicine and Zoology. In 1921, it was transformed into the West Siberian State Medical Institute. However, in 1925, it was called as Omsk State Medical Institute. In 1994, Omsk State Medical Academy was named.
OSMA maintains good relations with various educational institutions in Western Europe, the United States, Japan and other countries. 73% of employees have an academic degree. About 100 MD-PhD full professors and 300 MD-PhD associate professors cooperate with the university.
OSMU has the largest library among medical institutes in Russia. OSMU has over 6,00,000 collections and among them are a number of unique publications. The library includes a fully equipped computer classroom with Internet access.

ELIIBILTY CRITERIA
- Candidate must have Indian Nationality.
- Candidate must have clear 12th standard in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English subjects.

HOSTEL ACCOMODATION:-
- Each campus room includes a bed, pillow, mattress, blanket, table with chair, water heaters and suitable lighting for studying and relaxing.
- All rooms in the hostel are furnished and vary in size and Wi-Fi in most rooms.
- Dormitories can accommodate 2 or 3 students in each room.
